I moved out of  my college for 2 days and then returned and checked my Google Toolbar and it was showing PR 3. Really getting a Page Rank 3 on the first update of Google after the formation on this site means a lot of hard work has been done. Few days ago I wrote about how we got into Alexa 100k gang and now we are a PR 3 site. This sounds cool.

I have randomly checked some of the blogs and found out that some of the Blogging wire blogs too have got pagerank . Although I haven’t gone through all the blogs , but some of the blogs like Blogs of  Ileane has got pagerank in their blogs.

Hopefully after this update lots of new bloggers will join the site and create new blogs for themselves.

Blogging Wire is now a Alexa under 100k site and I am really loving this. I thank all the bloggers out here who supported me even after Brian left and still quite regular in this community . I was amazed to see some of the posts  getting  500+ unique visitors .

In the next post, I will  post the top 10 posts of the month and from next month I ll make the Top 10 blog list . Hopefully, that will increase interest among the fellow bloggers.

Its a double delight for me, because just few days back my Tech blog Computer Talks crossed 5k subscribers . I am also thinking of writing an ebook on getting huge amount of  subscribers for your blog  within a sort period of time. Don’t worry it will be free for the blogging wire users. I will share share my experience in that book.

So, guys finally a logo for Blogging Wire is made. Hopefully you guys will like it. Let me know whether its cool or not? If it needs some revision then let me know that too .

I got some sad news I will be leaving blogging wire as the website owner. I’m just so busy with Blog Engage I cannot keep up and I feel I’m letting you all down. For this reason and without reconsidering I have sold blogging wire.

I always have friends in mind so with the sell of blogging wire I have stipulated the site must remain as is without any altering of software or website content. The new owner is name theworldwinner so with this change please expect some downtime during DNS resolve. This is normally fast but can take up to 24 hours.

The buyer has agreed to keep the community alive and will manage with respect and the members in mind. If for any reason the new owner decided to change the website he has agreed to allow for 15 days to move all your content to your word press or self hosted blogs.

Due to users experiencing issues with our last Advertising Plugin I was left with no choice but to remove it an add another one you can use. It’s very easy to use but does require a little bit of setting up. Ads must always be within your posts. Must be in HTML mode

The option is easy and it looks great. I recommend setting it up as follows for a 468 by 60 ad space. Make sure to center your ads so they look good. You can see how I add the center tags in this image. Add you code and select import. Create a unique name to remember it by.

The center tags make your ads look and fit better. Do as you wish and enjoy the new options. I think this plugin will result in more clicks as you get great ad placement.

I wanted to give a formal apology to all our members here at blogging wire for our downtime over the past 24 hours. I’m sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused and promise I will do my best to ensure the up time of our community. Please rest assured I truly understand the importance of your blog and I respect fully your disappointment when you couldn’t access it.

With the support of the WPMU and Buddy Press community we have managed to successfully fix the time stamp issues on the main site while at the same time upgrade to the newest and greatest release of buddy press.

I do how ever have some unfortunate news regarding our custom template. It’s no longer compatible with the software therefore we will be using the default buddy press theme for a few weeks. Many new features and functions have been added that our old template was not designed for.

The template designers state clearly they are working on a new release and I will keep you updates with that progress as I get more feedback.

In order to access the forums you have to go through the actual group the forums belonged to. I created a support thread and will have this fixed ASAP.

If you haven’t noticed yet you have a new section under your profile name Twire. In simple terms this plugins allows you to automatically update your status from blogging wire to twitter.

This also allows your tweets to be updated here on blogging wire. So no matter where you twire or tweet your friends will be able to follow you easily and conveniently.

After  much research I have decided to go with the advertiser manager withing the blogging wire community. this plugin will allow you to add Google or other advertisements to your blog site.

With Advertisement Management you can control all your blog advertisements from one single location in the blog backend.

So, where will my advertisements appear in my blog?

Advertisement Management has a total of 8 different adspots witch will appear different places in your blog. More information about the different spots below:

I have installed a site wide calendar that will allows admins of groups to create dates of events they would like members to be aware of. In order to create an event you must own a  group.

• Awards

• Contests

• Blogging dates

• Blogging Events

So if you have anything you need reminding for or would like to simply share some important dates with you groups it’s now very easy and convenient.

I thought I would share this great news. Google loves us we are being indexed and Alexa has us breaking the 500,000 mark already.

This is great news as the more traffic we get the more attractive we will look to our competitors.
