Google doesnt show all the backlinks by using link:yourwebsite.com but if you really want to check the Google backlinks then use the Google Webmasters Tool, which gives you data of each and every link coming to your site/blog .
Also, the Yahoo backlinks are right as Yahoo counts even some of the nofollow backlinks and it shows all the backlinks that are coming to your site, whether it is coming from single domain or from multiple domain

Bishwajeet, I've been using this extension for about 3 weeks now. I got in touch with the developers through YouTube and let them know I plan to do a screencast for this tool, so I'm trying to learn all that I can about it. I tweeted with some other bloggers about this and another developer was monitoring the tweets. He has an SEO extension called SEO Site Tools that includes additional data.

I think these tools are fun to use, but I need to know more about what action I need to take to improve the data. For example in the screenshot it notes that there are 12,919 backlinks in Yahoo! and only 36 in Google. What's going on there? is that data accurate? How can Yahoo! be so high? It really has me puzzled.

I guess now you can see why I haven't done the screencast yet...

Thanks for sharing the link.
