Google Buzz

Funny, I was talking about buzz just the other day, now today the Internet is full of Google Buzz, another social media app that’s kind of a cross between Twitter and Facebook. Who, by the way, are taking their best shots at Google’s newest app.

And why would Yahoo and Facebook be happy about having their largest rival enter the  social media arena? They both have had their shot at cornering the market and I would have to believe that Google will prevail where others did not.

As a blogger who threw in everything he owned to Google years ago, I have to say that I welcome them into the social media world of network marketing and making connections. I have never been let down by Google and in my experience it’s only the ones who want to take those sneaky little shortcuts that shun Google.

Sure, they make a ton of money, that’s the American way! But they give as good as they get and way more. Where else can you get all the features you need to run a small to medium sized company for $50./yr. You can with Google Apps, spam free Gmail, Free blogs, Groups, Documents, YouTube, Calendar, and a whole lot more.

Before you call me a shill for Google I will tell you I have my share of WordPress blogs, even a Tumblr blog, I really only use Blogger when I want to implement Adsense, but Gmail is my friend and if I can connect with more people through a potential social media giant such as Google, man I’m all over it.
