Getting Passport in India is Both Easy & Difficult

Posted by Dr.Prahallad Panda on 20th March 2010

Indian passport cover

I think, getting passport in India is both an uphill and easy task. It is all about influence one has. The officials are like official and do not divulge essential tips to the general public. Getting police report is also both easy and difficult for getting passport processed. The mail-to link is wrong in the status inquiry page and not corrected in spite of pointing out. Getting a passport is just like conquering a state for us.  That is why, we Indians are adoring around the 80th position in transparency list in world. God is only helping us. There are many good fellows also, who help a lot. There are very good police officers here, I have never imagined. Anyway all is well that ends well.
