Apparently there is a bug in the comments.php file of Atahualpa, an updated comments.php file is in post #8 at this address: http://forum.bytesforall.com/showthread.php?t=5031&highlight=comments

Hmmm … still not working for me. There is a comment in there from Elements321 and my reply to that comment in the dashboard, and the footer of the post shows 2 comments, but when you click on them, nothing comes up. Strange. I wonder if it’s a BuddyPress issue? I’ve never had this problem on my self-hosted WordPress with Atahualpa.

I individually disabled each plugin, then checked the comments to see if there was a conflict, but no luck. I had CommentLuv activated, but I’ve turned that off for now.

I got the comments to come up when the link for comments is clicked in the post footer.

I had to go into Atahualpa Theme Options: Post & Pages: Edit Post/Page Info Items.
I scrolled down to: Footer: Multi Post Pages
I copied the code from that box.
Went down to the Footer: Single Post Pages and pasted the code over the default.

Now my comments show up when the link is clicked.

I would like them to show on the posts page automatically, but I’ll take what I can get.

Well perhaps I should delete the theme if it doesn’t work properly? Or should I keep it?

Thanks for keeping and uploading the newest Atahualpa Theme version Brian.

The only bad thing is that BloggingWire doesn’t allow you to upload your own files to change the rotating header images in the theme, but I know how to work around that. Please send any inquiries to me if someone wants to know how to get their own header up.

When I get time, I’ll post a blog tutorial for customizing the Atahualpa Theme and put a link to it in the Blogging Wire Atahualpa Theme group I created.
